Hi Vinay,      DFM server is the central piece, Operations, Protection and Provisioning Managers are the application running on it. The UI for Protection and Provisioning is NetApp Management Console ( NMC ) and for Operations Manager is web Ui. You cant access all the 3 from same interface. Hi      All you have to do is create a dfm backup in using dfm backup create cli  in DFM 3.6 restore the same using dfm backup restore cli in 5.0.2. Pls note this upgrade would take a long time depending upon the history you have. Also DFM 4.0 for Performance Adviser introduced som file format changes which will take a long time as well. No. But you can share the reports via email to any number of users. 2)  Uptime report: We have a requirement from a customer to get uptime report from the filer. In the reports I do see a report for uptime but it’s just a report that gives the amount the time this filer has been up. As there is no start end time of this report we can’t use it as measure to get % of uptime from filer. Is there anything else I can use to get that data? The uptime report is the value that we get from the controller. Its the time the filer is up since the last time it went down. This data is got once every 1hour or so. Hi Peter,      Except for the Disable option, others under the heading "OTHER OPTIONS" are only specific to Repeat Notification and not for the first time notification. As soon as the condition is breached, the alert is sent, but the options under "OTHER OPTIONS" only control whether repeat notification is enabled or not. If enabled what is the time interval in which it should be active and what is the frequency at which the repeat notification needs to be sent.All this repeat notification happen only if the event condition is still valid or until its acknowledged. Now about the option disable, when its value is set to yes the entire alert, even the first time notification of the condition being breached doesn't trigger an alert. Hope this helps.
