Role of FPGA chip in A320/N224 System?

Currently, I'm using the A320/N224 System and was curious about the role of the FPGA chip.

Is there anyone who knows about this chip??

The FPGA provides glue logic to facilitate the interaction between motherboard subsystem components: BMC and CPU, LED control, BMC and FRUs, etc.
