Hello everyone. A customer want to upgrade a AFF A220 machine from ONTAP 9.6 to 9.15. The specific machine have a active SSP warrantee, from the Support Site on the tab Systems-> Software Version Support i see that the 9.6ver is under the End of Self-Service Support. So my question is, if we start the upgrade process and that process failed any reason. We will be able to open a support request for the specific machine for this problem? I already read the upgrade process, i will provide screenshots. Thanks. Best Regards, SG

Hello everyone. A customer of us has a AFF A220 that have active a SSP ALL SW service warranty. After a search i dont have find a clear answer on what this service provide. The machine is running on 9.6 and we want to go on the 9.15 ( if it;s possible). But we dont start the upgrade process with out the choice of support as a backup. From the ChatGPT i have take the follow response, on the question that is mean the SSP ALL SW. " SSP: This may stand for Software Subscription Plan or Support Service Package. It usually indicates a subscription or support agreement covering various NetApp software products and services. ALL SW: This typically means "All Software." It implies that the package covers all software offerings relevant to a specific NetApp product or service suite. NetApp Service: Refers to the array of services provided by NetApp, such as technical support, software updates, and access to tools that help manage storage infrastructure." The output of this is correct? I mean if a machine have SSP ALL SW service active on a problem that acquire on the upgrade process i will can open a service request for the problem? Thanks. Best Regards, SG

Hi, I have noticed slow throughput initializing replicated vols across a WAN. It finally dawned on me to check the paths in use, and on the source cluster it's sending traffic out both controllers over e0m ports but it is coming on on the far side ports using the preferred IC LIFs which are setup with jumbos whereas the e0m's are not. My question is would IPspaces be the use case for solving this or just adding specific routes to the vserver for the cluster? When our VAR helped set these up they had us put "all" broadcast domains into the default IPspace and I'm not sure if I want to monkey with those thus the question. Both running 9.11.1 thanks!
