We have a brand new A700, and it's not in production yet. I'm trying to get test the throughput using "IOmeter" tool, the performance is poor than other arrays we have (FAS8080, and AFF8080), so, is there a specific tool from NETAPP tahat we could use to get an accurate result?

Hi, I have fairly simple system. AFF300 controllers. 2 shelves. storage shelf show Module Operational Shelf Name Shelf ID Serial Number Model Type Status ----------------- -------- --------------- ----------- ------ ----------- 1.1 1 SHFGD1613000010 DS2246 IOM12 Normal 1.2 2 SHFNC2108000186 DS224-12 IOM12 Normal 2 entries were displayed. Modules on both shelves are IOM12. ALL disks are the same 1.6tb SSD X365 Would there be any performance difference between shelves? All ports are showing 12GB but i am not sure about backplabe for the shelves. since one is DS2246 and other DS224. Thank you, Martin

(Running ONTAP 9.5) Does anyone know how to change the default properties of new volumes? For example, all new volumes are created with an auto-grow threshold of 91%. I'd like to change this value so that all volumes created in the future have an auto-grow threshold of 88%. Thanks!
