I recently install two HA AFF A700. one of this with two shelf 9 disk 900G and 39 disk 3.8T the other controller has the same configuration. the layout was disk 0.0,0.1, and 1.0.1.1 to root aggregate node 1 and 0.2,0.3 and 1.2,1.3 for root aggregate node 2. disk 0.4 is spare all this disk are 900g. the problen is one HA have 1TiB root aggregate and other HA has 100G root agregate. Why? other thing is i have all in produtcion how can i fix this for AFF A700 minimun root aggrete size is 1TiB.

Allocated unit 61153 vs 611356 same disk size 900G. all other disk 3.8T for data aggregate unpartition disk.

Open a case with NetApp Support to investigate why the unusually small root partitioning occurred.

The root cause will need to be understood to figure out how to fix it, especially since you're in production.

I opened a case, and the support that assit me, said that  I have not record of the cli used to do this configuration so they can not figure out what happened for this. if I have a shelf with five first disk are 900g and all other 3.8 and in the other shelf four of the first disk are  900g and all other 3.8T what is the correct procedius to install root aggregate ADP on 900g only disk ?

Please work this with your NetApp Tech Support Engineer. A community forum discussion is not appropriate, in my opinion.
