Hi,
My company just took on support for a client using snapmanager and getting the below error:
Backup SG/DB [XXXX] Error: SnapManager detected the following Exchange writer error. Please retry SnapManager operation. VSS_E_WRITERERROR_RETRYABLE: The writer failed due to an error that might not occur if another snapshot copy is created.
I do see the vss writer showing that it is in State 5: waiting for completion, Last Error: Retryable Error
Can someone point me in the right direction on how to clear this error or what it specifically relates to regarding snapmanager? Is it just a IS restart, server restart to clear the vss error?
