New categorization and redesign of NetApp Knowledge Base

In our endeavor to serve you better, the NetApp Support team is continuously working towards improving your experience on the Knowledge Base site. We are excited to share that from April 4, 2023, onwards, you will see a new and improved categorization of Knowledge Articles on the site.

 

We are revamping our site hierarchy and moving towards a more customer-centric design by organizing Categories, Guides, and Knowledge Articles based on customer usage patterns. This will help you navigate the site more intuitively and logically, to quickly find the information you are looking for.

 

Driven by the design principles of delivering ease of navigationenhanced search functionalities, and improved self-service experience, the KB site redesign will also include changes to the User Interface (UI) design of the Home Page and Category and Guide Pages. The UI changes are scheduled to go live in the beginning of May 2023.

 

Here are some key features to look out for:

 

  • Home page with on-demand categories, wherein the most accessed products and features will be easier to navigate.
  • Customer-centric site hierarchy
  • Individual product guide pages with top features, value added content, and recommended content, including the following:
    • Popular articles
    • Resolution guides
    • Interactive guides
    • NetApp KB TV videos
    • Support Bulletins
  • Organized product filters for streamlined search results
  • Quick access links to other NetApp information resources
