How to prepare for Netapp.

How can I prepare for netapp certification NS0-145 NetApp Certified Storage Associate. ??

1.  Take all the available (and free) web-based training

2.  Download and install the simulator and play with it.  Learn the CLI commands to do all the basic tasks of creating and maintaning aggregates/volumes/luns/exports/shares.

3.  Download and install System Manager (not sure if you'll need a valid support contract for this) and learn it.

4. Take the practice exam/practice questions.

Go to Downloads > Product Evaluation

You need NetApp Support account to get the simulator? I am an unemployed NCIE who wants to learn cluster mode and am unable to download the simulator.

Hi Eugene,

Thank you for replying back to me. I am discouraged on the lack of NetApp positions available especially in Southern California. I have seen a couple of positions looking for cluster experience. I also would like to extend my certifications. I have the older 7.4 simulator thats runs on Linux but not the 8.2.

Here are my current NetApp certifications:

NetApp ID: NETAPP00032348

NCIE-SAN - 11/14/2012

NCIE-B&R - 10/17/2012

NCDMA - 5/2/2011 - expired

Any suggestions on what I need to do to recertify etc would be appreciated.
