I have been in the IT field for 12 years have VCP4.1 MCSE, MCSA and some HP SAN experience. I was thinking of self paying for the Netap ontap DOTA and do the new clustering course. It would cost me 7200$ and hopefully get certified and employed using Netapp. Is it worth the $$$$$$$$
I agree that understanding Clustered Data OnTap would make you viable in the industry because it's relatively new and you'd have a leg up. Getting out in front of a technology that's going to provide so much value to customers is good plan. However, that's a pretty big cost for not knowing if there is a solid opportunity.
