ONTAP 9 updates
There is a lot going on in the NetApp Certification Program! First, we are in the process of updating all certification exams to align with ONTAP 9. The previous version of the exam will no longer be available once the ONTAP 9 version is released. Therefore, if you are studying for the clustered Data ONTAP 8.3 version of an exam on this list, be certain to register and take the exam prior to the ONTAP 9 live date!

Online proctoring
Starting April 15th, candidates will be able to take NetApp certification exams in the comfort of their own home or office. Online proctoring requires that you have a webcam or a laptop with a webcam. Pearson VUE staff will validate your identification, review the room in which you want to take the exam, and monitor your exam attempt remotely as you take the exam. Exam security
The NetApp Certification Program takes certification exam security very seriously. Each person that passes an exam will receive a “provisional pass”. Following the exam attempt, we evaluate the results to determine if there are any red flags that might indicate a violation of the NetApp Certification exam security policy. If we detect and verify a violation, the exam attempt is invalidated and the individual may be banned from the program. This practice was implemented to protect the value of NetApp Certifications and ensure that anyone who holds a NetApp Certification is qualified to perform the tasks associated with the certification.
Exam passing scores
NetApp Certification updated all of the certification pages to now include the passing score and number of items for each of our exams. This information can be found on the Exam tab under each certification.
