Access Unix files with 660 from windows

I have created a volume with mixed mode, shared the files using CIFS on windows. My application is creating the files with 660 on unix side. I need to read the files on windows as a different user. Right now i am getting permission untill unless i change the permissions on the files. Help will be greatly appreciated.

map that windows user to the unix user using usermap.cfg. That might do the trick.
