We have a system which seems to hold cifs sessions indefinitely; for example, using the Microsoft MMC (shares / sessions etc) I have noticed sessions open on files from weeks / months ago, also, multiple sessions on the same files.
Is this normal behaviour, if not how should this be resolved.
