Linux command mount shows .snapshot/* directories

Hi! Usually the Linux command mount does not list  .snapshot/* directories but on one of our virtual machines it does, for a single volume only. On other virtual machines it doesn't for this and any other volume.

Have you any idea what could cause this?

Configuration:

  • FAS2750
  • VM OS Debian 10 (Buster)
  • VM kernel 4.19.269-1
  • NFS package nfs-common 1:1.3.4-2.5+deb10u1
  • NFS v3

Kind regards,

Harri

The problem may be related with the issue described in this KB article:

Clients that explicitly access the .snapshot directory will still show the multiple .snapshot mounts
