Just a question to the community,

If we are mounting hard mounts with intr and we have a vfiler and then activate a vfiler DR- do all the clients have to unmount and remount nfs?  ANd if so, why?  The ip is different from Prod and DR?  But, the NFS clients are mounting FQDN

Communication is between two IPs; once FQDN was resolved to IP it becomes irrelevant. If IP changed, host must again resolve FQDN to new IP and reestablish connection. Old connection will appear hung.
