We attempted to move a Unix qtree to a Windows share with the following procedure:
1. Copying the Qtree to new Volume using NetApp XCP (with security-style=Unix as XCP wouldn't agree to copy from Unix to NTFS).
2. Create a share using this volume and add users (Administrator, Domain Admins) at this point with "No Access".
3. Make the Unix qtree read-only.
4. Following the file XCP sync, changed the volume security-style to NTFS.
5. Change the Windows users from "No Access" to Full_Control.
However, our Windows administrator encountered two problems with the Windows share: (1) inheritance did not work, (2) the owner of the share remained as Unix root as illustrated with the following screenshots:

Any pointers to solve these two problems will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ephraim
