Can I remove the Domain Admins group from the Administrators group on a CIFS enabled filer? The Domain Admins group is added to the filer's administrators group when joined to the domain during CIFS Setup. Our storage team and server administration team are separate and we want to prevent the members of the Domain Admins group from authenticating to the filer.
If I do remove the Domain Admins group from the Administrators group on the filer, will this cause any problems with CIFS?
