Hi everyone!
Can someone clarify me one moment about vol language setting.
May i change language of volume from cl_lang to cl_lang.UTF-8 in multiprotocol environment (NFS, CIFS) without loose access to existing files?
In the NTFS only environment i do this without problem.
But fololowing documentation i found:
"Attention: You are strongly advised to set all volumes to have the same language as the root volume, and to set the volume language at volume creation time. Changing the language of an existing volume can cause some files to become inaccessible."

There should not be any problem in file access as changing the volume language from cl_lang to cl_lang.UTF-8 will only encode the volume language in 8-bit UCS/Unicode Transformation Format.
So the volume language remains same. Only encoding format changes.
