file auditing log event in cifs access environment

Do you know any solutions which are able to analyse log event  ?

for security reasons, one of my customer wants to check :

What users are currently entitled to access which data?

Who were the last people to access a critical folder, and how?

Who deleted a key file?

How did a user get access permission to a file?

Which administrator changed settings to the file server, and when?

We are in need of the very same thing for the same reason.

We have enabled auditing on the Windows file servers which provides us the level of information which we need but I have been told by NetApp that they do no offer any kind of file system auditing on their products.  Does anyone know if this is something that might be being worked on or has been considered?
