no initiators showing up on one SAN 0d port, other SAN is ok

Hi;

Not sure if anyone has seen this:

We have Two Netapp SANs-four v3240 controllers--SAS/SATA mix-using fibrechannel.

Two FC fabrics- one using 0c and the other 0d.   One SAN is the primary, and the other is snap-mirrored.

The primary SAN appears to see all initiators (VMware Hosts) on both ports.

The other SAN will not see any initiators on 0d.  If it was one controller, fine,  but it's both.

All the initiators show up on 0c.

The FC fabric effective zoning looks correct, and I've gone over it a few times.

The FC switches are identical, all at latest FW/OS and don't show any issues.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Gregg

Can you show the output of some commands on the filer such as the igroup status and the FC HBA info from sysconfig?

Hi;

I feel like an idiot - it was the Fabric Zoning.    (must be getting a bit of dyslexia....)

Apologies to all, and especially you "rwelshman" for trying to help out.

Please ignore.

Thanks.

Gregg
