Hi All,

Need to replicate data between 2 data centers . we have AF series and FAS series and both are Ontap 9.X version.

below are the plan , Appreciate for help

1) Network route to be opened?

2)Open port 10566 for snap mirror replication. Any other ports to be opened?

3) Do we need perform cluster and SVM  peering ? before or after initiating snapmirror? Any firewall ports to be opened?

Do we need perform cluster and SVM  peering ? - Yes  Cluster then SVM. 

before or after initiating snapmirror?  Before, you won't be able to to it without them.

The snapmirror uses ports 1114,11105, and LIF between clusters. cluster peers need to be set up before vserver peers
