Disabling the default SNMP community string

Are there any concerns that should be taken into consideration when disabling the default SNMP community string (public).  We have another custom SNMP community string that we are using, and for one of our new filers we are considering disabling the default string.  Any help/feedback is appreciated!

We haven't had any problem removing the default snmp string.

My gut feeling was that there was no risk in disabling it, but I just wanted to hear from someone who had already done this with no issues.  Thank you!
