Let me start by saying this is my first time to configure and setup a FAS of any kind, so please go easy. My old FAS2040 took a dump and I'm currently in the process of replacing it with a new, of the same model. I am currently attempting to re-assign my disks; I'm at the part where I need to interrupt the boot process with the CTRL-C command so I can enter maintenance mode. The issue I'm running into is that I can't interrupt the boot process with the CRTL-C command to enter maintenance mode. Any ideas why this would be happening or how to fix it?

I figured out my issue. I was using the FAS Load Automation Tool. As soon as I exited out of that and used Hyperterminal everything started to work fine.

not seen that before... so when you boot to OnTap you see the option that says Ctrl+C for the special boot menu?
what happens when you press that...does it just boot as normal?
