What is the technical reason why we cannot support the 4 port 1Gb Ethernet or 1 port 10 Gb Ethernet PCIe card into the FAS2050?

I'm not in Engineering so I can't say this for sure, but my first guess would be that a platform that low can't drive that kind of aggregate bandwidth.

I'm pretty certain it can't drive 10Gb sustained, and 4+2 (there are 2 on-board ports too) would probably be stretch.

Again, this is one gjuy speculating, but keep in mind, this is a low-end controller.
