FAS2552 node missing interfaces

Hi all,

As I detailed in my last post I am doing tests wih some FAS systems and DS shelves. I detected some issues with one FAS2552 controller. The first node works fine but second one is not working as expected.

Running "cluster setup" command I can't select any management port and I cant advance with the wizard.

Executing "network port show" command the output is "This table is currently empty". I wiped the node using option 4 from boot menu and the issue is still present.

If I run the command "ifconfig -a" from node run mode I only see the the interfaces e0c, e0d,e0e and e0f but nothing about e0M management interface.

Could someone suggest what to do or definitelly that node is faulty?

Regards,

If the newly installed controller modules are reused—"not new"—you must enter Maintenance mode and ensure that their HA state is set to HA.

Yes, all two controllers are set in HA mode but I am unable to proceed with the "cluster setup" in the second controller.

Software version is Data Ontap 9.1P20.

There is an “option 9...” in the boot menu that allows you to re-initialise ADP filer, like wipeconfig.

The controllers are using ONTAP 9.1P20 and I don't see this option 9 in boot menu.
