FAS61xx NetApp Storage Controller.

Hi ,

NetApp should replace it current FAS60xx series with FAS61xx series   similar to FAS31XX series have replaced FAS30XX .

FAS61xx series  should be like high  enhanced redundant HA  storage controller similar FAS31xx series.

Scale up or scale out?  I buy FAS31xx as we scale out.  A FAS61xx would be a monster so what would it role be?

I would lean towards the 3100 series as well. I'd really like to see a 24 port NX style switch for disk/fabric/network connectivity and leave the PCI slots for PAM stuff.
