Firmware upgrade

We have an NetApp FAS2240 one in our co-lo and one on premises
We need to upgrade Netapp 2240 firmware on both sides.  Netapp 8.2.x

Question we got on our conference call is :Can this firmware upgrade done remotely ?

Yes, it can. But it is highly advisable to have LAN connection to SP so you can actually monitor this and intervene if needed.
