Has anyone done anything interesting with shelves that are no longer under support? We have three 2Gbps AT-FCX shelves (loaded with 750GB SATA drives) that are no longer covered under our support contract. We realize they are a liability for tier 1 since the hardware can no longer be replaced / troubleshot, but it feels a shame to just throw them out since its 25TBs of useable space. If there some way to RAID1 two shelves? Thanks for any creative ideas!
