Hello,
I didn't find the NVRAM specs for each new array type, does anyone know it?
Total NVRAM Active/Active:
FAS3210: 1GB
FAS3240: 2GB
FAS3270: 4GB
Regards,
Niek
Note that these are cluster numbers, so half that for a per node nvram size, and these systems use NVMEM which shares system ram.
The ONTAP maximum file limits is lesser than the maximum possible number of files supported by ONTAP for a volume. This video explains the reason why ONTAP has this lower limit on the file count.
