ONTAP Hardware
I am trying to find a datasheet that states whether the Netapp 2650 has Serdes or SGMII interface for the sake of choosing the appropriate 1G Copper SFP hardware type of 10/100/1000BASE-T or 1000BASE-T.
I can’t seem to find this answer.
Hi,
There is a - Copper Transceiver X6568-R6 with Supported Cables. Attached pdf for FAS2650.
Actual Product for this X6568-R6 = FCLF8522P2BTL-NQ (From Finisar)
If you go to finisar website, and look for this (FCLF8522P2BTL) product, it states:10/100/1000 BASE-T operation in host systems with SGMII interfacehttps://optical.communications.ii-vi.com/optical-transceivers/fclf852xp2btl
Thanks!
The ONTAP maximum file limits is lesser than the maximum possible number of files supported by ONTAP for a volume. This video explains the reason why ONTAP has this lower limit on the file count.
Here’s a quick tutorial on how to check system information on the NetApp Support Site.
Learn to correct an error message when ONTAP reports that a volume is out of inodes because it has reached the maximum files.
