Hi All,
I have a query regarding change of cabling while system is online. Please suggest if the below is possible on online system. I would like to do the following:
- Remove the cables on port 0b port on both controllers and connect them to new disk shelf (square ports)
- Connect the circle ports on new disk shelf to both controllers
(Basically I want to remove red cables and reconnect like green one)
Kindly suggest of the above is possible when system is online. Or do I need to have downtime!!
Thanks in advance

Hi,
disconnecting the multipath to a shelf to do an expansion is
a common scenario and can be done online.
Please refer to the cabling guide and check cabling before and
after expansion with "Config Advisor" you can find in "Utility Toolchest".
If Config Advisor is not green before expansion maybe you need a downtime
for fixing the problem.
Regards
Marco
