Would anyone know what systems would take 25 x disks NL-SAS of a capacity 8TB would it be a FAS or a DS shelf?

Like is FAS2750 the best model for this?

I would suggest you peruse the NetApp Hardware Universe (https://hwu.netapp.com).

8TB NL-SAS drives are large form-factor HDDs. They would only physically fit in the following platforms/shelves:

FAS2620, FAS2720
DS212C
DS460C (only the HDDs that have the carrier for the DS460C's drawer trays).

I meant to add...

FAS2620, FAS2720, DS212C are all 12-drive LFF shelf chassis.

The DS460C is a 60-drive chassis - 5 drawers with 12 x LFF drives, each.
