SAS cabling question for 3240 onboard + IO Module Quad SAS HBA

I was wondering if there is a guide that outlines how to cable 2 or more stacks of disk shelves on a 3240 with onboard SAS ports + a quad port SAS adapter in slot 1, specifically what ports to use for each stack. I looked at the Universal SAS cabling guide, but did not see this specific scenario. Since there is not a C port onboard, what would you use for the next top connection after the 0a and 1a ports are used  ?

would the top connections sequence be

0a, 1a, 1c

and the bottom

0b,1b,1d

?

Thanks

Kevin

The documentation in the storage subsystem technical faq is to shift the bottom row of b/d ports to the left and wrap around the first entry... so the port pairs would be 0a/1b, 1a/1d and 1c/0b.  The 1a/1d being less desirable on the same hba, but suported since on a different asic pair on the card.
