We are currently migrating migrating VMware data from an EVA to a FAS
The current vSphere infrastructure is configured for FC datastores hosted on HP EVA. The vSphere version used for hosting production virtual machines is ESXi 4.1.
we have created 20 1TB FlexVols for a 1 to 1 relationship with the current HP datastores and we are storage vmigrating successfully.
We are taking on the SQL data. A high % of the SQL servers are physical and we have differing opinions on how this data set should be migrated.
Can some one help with a guide or recommend the best supported data migration stratagy to get the SQL data from the EVA to the FAS.
