Hi Experts, I'm currently facing an issue with adding disks to my NetApp system and would greatly appreciate your help. Here is my current setup: NetApp FAS8300 system Firmware version: 9.11.1 Current disks: Aggregate 1 : 20 disks of 16TB in RAID-TEC Aggregate 2 : 20 disks of 16TB in RAID-TEC I have new 16TB disks that I want to add to my existing storage pool. However, I'm not sure of the exact steps to integrate these new disks optimally without disrupting my system's current operations. Here are a few specific questions I have: Are there any prerequisites or specific checks that need to be done before adding the disks ? What is the exact command to add these new disks to the existing storage pool ? Should I plan for a maintenance window or any downtime during the disk addition process ? Is it possible to mix disks of different sizes and, if so, what are the implications for performance and space management ? Any help or advice on the procedure would be greatly appreciated. If you have any experiences to share, that would be very helpful! Thanks

How are you guys day going? I'm just a freshman engineer who is in the beginning. I just have a question about the disk size. Because I know that 960GB of disk has 894GiB of usable size. But I watched one thing when I use this command like "node run * sysconfig -a" on ONTAP 9.13.1P9 and it showed me 915.4GB of disk size. Can somebody explain to me about 'Where the disk size(915.4GB) was from?'. It makes me really confuse. There is no information about this clearly... Please help my knowledge improvement.

I have an A200 in my home lab that the controller on side A will not power on. I am able to get to the BMC and look at the event logs and it appears the CPU is having issues. I removed the controller and heatsink, but it looks like the CPU is soldered directly on the motherboard. Can anyone confirm that is the case?
