We have two node FAS8020 and would like to change the IP address - mgmt, all the interfaces on the FAS8020.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Experts, Good Day! Just one question about NVMe disks hope to get help. The NVMe 1.9TB disk has two Part numbers: X4010A(SSD,1.92TB,NVMe,SED) and X4018A (SSD,1.92TB,NVMe,Non-SED). Can it be mixed in the same NS224 disk shelf? Here is an AFF A400 system, the current disk configuration is 12*1.92TB NVMe (PN:X4018A) disk, I intend to add 12*1.92TB NVMe disk (PN: X4010A) to expand the storage capacity for it. Many thanks for any input. Chenhui

hello, I’m planning to build fas2750(Ontap v9.xx). It has raid-db configuration environment([data disk x9, parity x2, spare x1] x2 node ) . Question 1: If two disks fail on one node (= 1 raid group), will two spare disks be used? Question 2: The Ontap 8 manual states that if there are no spare disks and two disks fail, the node will be shut down within 24 hours (default) automatically. Does Ontap9 behave in the same way? Thanks

I would like to ask whether this mixed stack refers to: one shelf has HDD and SSD, or one shelf has HDD and the other shelf has SSD connected to the controller. I have a shelf with SAS hard disks and SSDS, and I need to increase space to add a new shelf. Using NL-SAS hard disks, I can directly pull out the SAS cable of the shelf with SAS hard disks and SSDS, connect it to the new shelf and access the original loop. You still need to add a new loop to connect to the newly added shelf
