Pilot reports - how to get a custom report?

How does one go about obtaining or writing a pilot report?

I have a request to have a report that exports some system topology information in a tabular type from such as:

appication,volume,vm,esxhost,datastore,netapp head

I want to create my own reports and Balance certainly holds enough data to sieve through...

Hello Chris,

At this time we do not have a published API for customer access to the Balance database. We have certain issues with IP licensing that complicate any attempt to open up the database.
