A300 MetroCluster - Which node monitors what?

Hey community,

we have a two-node A300 MetroCluster. Currenty the monitoring of ATTO Bridges and Brocade-Switches is done by one node only, it monitors all 8 devices (2 ATTO, 2 Broacde per site).

What is recommended here?

"My gut" tells me that either both nodes should monitor all devices - or each node only its own devices.

Any NetApp best practices on this?

Thanks!

Each cluster would monitor the bridges and switches. For a 2-node MetroCluster, that means each node will, in fact, do this.

Is it configured automatically during MCC setup or is it necessary to manually add them?
