AFF A70/A90 chassis replacement

Could you explain why the chassis HA configuration is no longer required after a chassis replacement? I noticed that in the latest version of the replacement procedure manual, this step is no longer included.

In this NetApp platform, as in others (HA interconnect procedure guide for ASA, AFF and FAS platforms - NetApp Knowledge Base) the HA interconnect is established through external cabling and not the internal chassis connection, as in previous systems.

The following procedure is no longer included in the latest version.

Set the HA state for the chassis:

ha-config modify chassis HA-state
