Hello,

From the HWU perspective, the hardware configuration is the same. Are there any significant differences in the software functions?

There have to be some differences, otherwise why did you add "r"? Any differences on configures, hw etc?

The AFF C30 is the original model, while the AFF C30r2 is a revised version with updates. Both have similar hardware configurations, but the "r2" version includes improvements in hardware or firmware that enhance performance, stability, and feature support. It’s also optimized for newer ONTAP versions.

The "r2" label indicates a revised version of the original system, featuring updated hardware components like CPUs, memory, or network interfaces for improved performance and stability. It may also include software enhancements or support for new features that require the updated hardware. Although the base specs may look similar, the "r2" version reflects the most current and optimized iteration.
