Active-Passive controllers with one having Flash Cache and other not.. Possible?

Hi,

As the subject suggest... is it possible for active passive controllers to have flash cache in the active controller and not in the passive one?

Is it a supported configuration? Whatever is your reply, can you please provide me a document supporting your view?

I just found out from Netapp guys.. the answer is - HA pair need to have equal no. cards in both the nodes !

I know this is a "Forum" and not Support site... It's just that my expections were high, if you know (and understand) what I mean.

And it would have been better if you would have invested your time in helping rather than commenting something like that... just my 2 cents !!
