Flash Cache: which volume is breaking it?

Hi,

I have a filer with 512Gb FlashCache, please have a look at the graph generated by Performance Manger.

Questions:

1. Is it ok / normal to have 60% hit rate?

2. How can I tell what volume causes spikes in "miss" ~ every hour? I can not match it against workload of any volume, again looking at PM graphs.

Thanks,

Vladimir

use the following command at ontap prompt:

stats show -p flexscale-access

stats show ext_cache_obj

You will have a better understanding of how flexcache  is working.

thank you,

AK G

AK G,

Thanks, i know about these two. It doesn't tell you which volume triggers "Evict" .. this is what I'm really after.
