Metrocluster IP Switchover scenarios

Hi all!

Reviewing the scenarios where a metrocluster can initiate an automatic switchover. I have a question.
In the event that the 2 controllers of an MCC in a Data Center perform an orderly shutdown for example by a power outage and both remain in the loader.

In the case of an orderly shutdown, is a switchover to the other Data Center performed?

hello:

For disaster recovery testing or planned site maintenance, a MetroCluster switchover can be performed to transfer control to the disaster recovery (DR) site (Site A). Before initiating this process, at least one surviving site node must be in a normal operating state prior to the switchover. If a previous switchover operation on some nodes at the DR site failed, the operation can be retried on all these nodes.

Best regards.
