Alerting/Reporting on LUN Whitespace

Hi All,

Is there a way that we can use Operations Manger for Netapp to report and alert on LUN % Space Used, i,e LUNs that have a lot of whitespace within them using allocated space?

We also have Microsoft's System Center Operations 2007 R2 using Appliance Watch version 2.1, does anyone know of a way we can report on LUN % Space used using this tool as well?

Operations Manager does not report on the Lun space usage. As a lun is a space reserved file. Its best to get the same from host side or by having an agent doing a walk on the LUN using FSRM or Host Agent.

OM only reports on the total size of the lun.
