Can I disconnect the SP/E0M port without affecting production?

Hello Experts,

I would like to move our SP/E0M port connection to a different switch, but I want to make sure that it won't trigger a failover of our HA filers. Is it safe to perform?

Thanks,

Maico

If "ifconfig e0M" doesn't have "nfo" negotiated failover set then no issue and won't failover if nfo is not set

Scott,

I don’t see nfo conifigured.

>ifconfig e0M

e0M: flags=0x2b4c867<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,TCPCKSUM> mtu 1500

inet 10.100.1.103 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 10.100.1.255

partner e0M (not in use)

ether 00:a0:98:15:d2:04 (auto-100tx-fd-up) flowcontrol full

I also see that this is cf takeover on nic failure is off.

cf.takeover.on_network_interface_failure off

All good. You can pull it with no failover event.
