Command or tool to track LUN daily growth

Hi experts ,

Can anybody help me with to figure out the daily growth of a LUN as i need to do the capacity planning.

Hi,

You can use DFM (OnCommand System Manager) to send you daily grow reports.

You can also track the snapshots daily size changes and calculate the grow.

You can run the command df –s –h on the LUN VOL to see the used size

You can run the command lun show –v to get Occupied Size

Hi Ariel,

We are not using Snapshots in our environment , Could you please explain me how i can pull out the reports from OnCommand System Manager as i want to see the daily growth of particular lun.

Hi,

Open the DFM application

Go to reports

Create a new report and choose lun grow.

Set a schedule daily report.
