Common reasons WFA Automation Store tab doesn't function?

I use the automationstore often but lately I've noticed the builtin store tab can never connects to the store anymore (seeing this in two separate WFA instances 31p2 and 4.0). I instead use the Online Storege Automation Store link (in upper right of store tab window).

 

I've confirmed both my client and the WFA server's themselves can connect to the link and there are no proxies in between my systems and outside world ... and multiple browsers can get to the link. Are there environmental settings affecting this?

 

Anyone else seeing this?
