DFM 4.0 Events generated on threshold breach

During the DFM 4.0 cifs latency threshold test found that event generated on threshold breach (configured through Perf manager) disappears from performance manager events after few minutes. Any idea why it does so?

When the threshold condition no longer holds good (the value of your

counters remains below the threshold set for the threshold interval, for

example), a normal event is generated that hides the earlier error event.
