Hi All,

we had a problem where a gigabit Ethernet port autonegotiated to only 100mbps after a site powerdown. We are still investigating why. This caused performance problems but was not spotted for a week.

Can you recommend the best way of triggering Alerts from the NetApp device if the network port speed is other than 1000 mbps. Is there some DFM alert that we can setup here?

I don't remember of any MIB or trigger point in OC and ONTAP to do the job for you. the only MIB which I can remember present in ONTAP is port state change from up to down but nothing around speed.
