ESH cabling error impact

Hi,

A FAS2050 with 3 DS14MK4 shelfs has a misconfigured cabling.

What is the impact to connect filer to ESH OUT port and (not IN port like it is described in documentations and best practices), and then chain IN port to OUT port of the other shelf ?

Are OUT and IN ports really differents ?

Well ... technically that is what you do in MP-HA, so it obviously works. Whether this is really supported outside of MP-HA I do not know; I would just fix cabling to avoid any possible issues with support.
