Hi all,

in DFM i am trying to give permissions for full control Administration to another users, throught these steps:

Operation Manager > Control Center > Setup > Administrative Users > Edit Administrato Settings > DOMAIN\USRNAME > then setting GlobalFullControl

but i obtain the following error message:

Error: Can't connect to host (err=10061).

Unable to properly update role membership for

Could anyone help me for this?

Error: Can't connect to host (err=10061).

The error usually means the call is failing at the DFM server.

Can you get the o/p of

1. dfm service list

2. dfm option list | findstr /I http

the DFM server service was stopped.

I started it and now it's working.

Massimiliano,

     I would suggest you try out the DFM Scout SW to watch over your DFM server for any such server unalarmed service stops or cores that could get generated as a result of service service or a process crashes. Its very simple but very useful.
